Available to all employees scheduled to work 20+ hours per week. BOKF offers three types of flexible spending accounts – the health care spending account, dependent daycare spending account, and the commuter spending account. Each account allows you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to help pay for eligible health care expenses, dependent daycare expenses, or work-related parking and transit expenses.

Eligible to those employees enrolled in the Consumer-Driven Health Plan (CDHP). HSAs are personal financial accounts, similar to a checking account, but the money you put in is tax-free. Your HSA can pay for medical, dental, vision and prescription healthcare expenses. BOKF also provides contributions to your HSA.

  • Wellness Program: Employees and covered spouses/domestic partners enrolled in our medical plans are eligible to participate in the myWellness program. The program offers the opportunity for an annual personal health assessment, a discount on medical premiums (pending outcomes of the health assessment), as well as an online portal for wellness challenges, support and knowing your health risks.
  • Discounted Gym Membership: Employees enrolled in the bank’s health plan are also eligible for a $25 per month gym membership at more than 9,000 fitness centers across the U.S.
  • Doctor on Demand: Employees have access to a virtual doctor’s office visit, anywhere they have a data connection and skip a drive to the doctor’s office.
  • Wondr Health: Employees can participate in this online program at no cost, that uses informative videos and learning tools to teach you how to lose weight and improve your health.
  • Virta Diabetic Management: Virta is a medically supervised, online program to help patients lower A1c, eliminate diabetes medications and lose weight. We fully cover the cost of Virta, for all employees, spouses/domestic partners, and adult dependents with type 2 diabetes who are enrolled in the company’s health plan.

We have a dedicated Learning and Development team that offers numerous developmental resources to help drive performance and increase employees’ skills and organizational knowledge. Starting with our new employee experience, we have programs and classes that build on each other as employees advance in their career.


All new employees are enrolled in our Welcome U Program’s virtual orientation experience, which is a 9 day program designed to allow new employees to immediately engage in the culture of the organization. The program includes welcome videos, videos about our company purpose and values, videos from the executive leadership team on our core competencies, and more.
All employees have unlimited access to numerous online courses, including LinkedIn Learning, that cover a vast array of topics from personal development to leadership courses, and everything in between.
Live virtual bootcamps are offered for key areas of development and are open to all employees. These courses allow engagement with others in the company and take a deep dive on a variety of topics to develop professional skills.
BOK Financial is partnering with Harvard School of Business for two Leadership Development programs. Participants will learn from Harvard thought leaders and gain key competency development utilizing best-in-class curriculum.
  • Rise (Retention, Inclusion, Support and Empowerment): new hire mentor program that matches each new hire with a culture ambassador to support them from their firsts day of employment until the end of their first year.
  • Achieving More Together (AMT): our AMT mentor program is for all employees who have at least one year of employment with the company. The program pairs a mentee with a mentor to gain knowledge, skills, experience, information and solicit advice.

Full- time and part-time employees are eligible to participate on the first of the month after completing one full calendar month of service. Earnings which are eligible for 401(k) withholdings include base salary, commissions, and shift differential. BOKF offers a generous company match, up to 200%, based on the number of years of employment.

BOKF provides the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) program through GuidanceResources. The program has a myriad of online resources available for work-life needs such as researching elder care and daycare options, so you don’t have to, as well as financial and legal services. The EAP also provides free, confidential counseling for personal concerns. You and your dependents may receive up to three counseling sessions per issue, per year at no cost to you.

The Tuition Assistance Program is provided to help employees with graduate, undergraduate and specialized job, career, and work-related education. Coursework must be related to your current or a future position with BOKF.

We provide many options for our employees to help with the various life situations that come up, from vacations to sickness or injury to bringing home your new little one, we have a solution to make sure you and your family are covered.

  • Vacation hours: Employees accrue vacation hours based on full-time or part-time status, years of service, job grade and officer title.
  • Sick time: available when an employee is unable to report to work because of illness, injury or surgery for oneself or an immediate family member. The hours available are based on whether you are full-time or part-time status.
  • Personal time: is paid and available only to full-time employees when you are required to be away from work to attend to concerns, issues or activities of a personal nature for an immediate family member or oneself.
We offer both short-term & long-term disability coverage, which are designed to work together to provide continuous income replacement if you cannot work due to illness or injury. The coverage is available to full-time employees and employees who work 32+ hours per week.
Under the provisions of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), BOK Financial provides eligible employees with unpaid leave in a 12-month period for specific family and medical reasons, with reinstatement to the same or an equivalent position upon return from leave.
Paid parental leave is provided to allow employees to take time away from work so they can care for and bond with their newborn or newly adopted, or newly placed child. Employees who are considered the primary caregiver for the child will receive four weeks of paid leave; secondary caregivers will receive two weeks of paid leave.
BOKF has a partnership with a third party that offers you 24-hour, toll-free travel assistance when you are 100+ miles from home. These services include pre-trip assistance, emergency medical transportation, emergency personal assistance services, as well as medical assistance services.

Basic life insurance is provided to full-time employees at no cost, with the option to purchase additional or supplemental insurance for themselves and their families.
